2GB SAS 3.0 DAS/JBOD Storage Solution - 26-Bay - JetStor 826JX

The JetStor 826JX is a 26-bay cost-effective DAS (Direct Attached Storage) or JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) for server expansion. It is also a RAID expansion enclosure for JetStor SAN (Storage Area Network) FX and iX series.

The JetStor JX DAS/JBOD solutions set a new storage standard for direct-attached storage. The series provides a smart and elastic runtime configuration of the 10x 12Gb/s SAS wide ports support and allows IT managers fully utilize the 480Gb/s data bandwidth per system for various applications. The JX series is fully tested with various configurations and can deliver up to 24,000MB/s1 sequential read and 20,000MB/s1 sequential write in throughput and over end-to-end 4.2 million2 sequential IOPS. It is ideal for video editing, high-performance computing, cloud storage, streaming, broadcasting, virtualization, and data centers.

JetStor JX DAS/JBOD systems offer fully redundant components for all major functions, including dual controllers, power supplies, fan modules, host ports, and expansion ports. Besides hot-swappable components, the firmware is able to update without any system downtime and balance IO loading through multiple paths and dual controllers.

The DAS/JBOD storage solution features all 12Gb/s SAS topologies and permutations of all host and expansion port configurations. The series supports all 12Gb/s SAS topologies, including Cascade, Reverse, and Tree, and can be deployed freely to fit various connections to the host servers. With up to 10x 12Gb/s SAS ports support per system, this feature is crucial for users to plan a well-defined resource arrangement to achieve highly utilized performance and capacity of the system.

The JetStor 826iXD high-performance All Flash 26-bay iSCSI SAN storage system features two Dual-Active (Active/Active) controllers, Intel’s latest D1500 processor, cutting edge 12Gb SAS 3.0 technology, two onboard 10GBase-T ports and the latest SANOS 4.0 (SAN Storage Management Operating System v4.0) by QSAN.

This all-flash storage array features a Dual-Active controller architecture, both controllers concurrently provide storage services in real-time. Active-Active architecture doubles the available host bandwidth and cache hit ratio, ensuring maximum utilization of system resources and maximized throughput. If one controller fails, the other controller can transparently take over all storage services. In addition to storage services, management services can transparently pass to the secondary controller.

The JetStor 826iXD is a highly-available iSCSI SAN storage system. All of the critical components in the 826iXD are hot pluggable and designed with full redundancy. This design allows the system to withstand multiple component failures and achieve 99.999% availability.

Expansion options are available with WD JBODs 60 and 102 bays with capacities at 1PB and 2PB per JBOD.
