The Innovative NAS System
The XCubeNAS XN8012R is a next generation, highly efficient NAS system which is designed for SMB and enterprise applications. The XN8012R is powered by the latest generation of Intel ® Kaby Lake processors and up to 64GB of DDR4 ECC RAM. Cutting edge NVMe SSD technology ready, with two additional on-board PCIe slots for blazing performance and capacity expansion.
The PCIe expansion slots give the XN8012R the flexibility to respond to various application demands. Thunderbolt™ 3 and 10GbE/40GbE network adapter cards are supported to greatly enhance the data transmission speeds. And dual-port SAS expansion cards are also supported XN8012R to scale up to 2PB with our XN8012R expansion enclosures.
Powerful Hardware Platform
Combined with the latest hardware technology, this NAS storage solution is able to fulfill various application demands efficiently. Extensive network bandwidth is provided, enabling the XCubeNAS to thrive in complex network environments. Additional PCIe option slots are included as standard, making the XCubeNAS a perfect device for SMB all the way up to big data applications or high-performance requirements.
Moreover, the innovative mechanical design makes the XCubeNAS a versatile hybrid storage device. Without affecting existing large form factor slots, the XCubeNAS positions several small form factor bays for SATA and PCIe SSD’s at the rear side of the system, this way we can ensure that both the demands for capacity and performance can be satisfied.

A 10GbE/40GbE (10 Gigabit/ 40 Gigabit Ethernet) network is essential for businesses that demand high bandwidth for virtualization, and fast backup and restore for an ever-growing amount of data. The XCubeNAS XN8012R is an affordable, reliable, and scalable NAS storage solution for deploying a 10GbE / 40GbE environment.
Built off of QSM OS 3.0 and 3.1, all QSAN NAS units are run on the latest QSM OS 3.2
