JetStor SAS 724J is a 19-inch 2U rackmount JBOD unit. It comes with 24 hot-swappable bays and ideal for high capacity and scalability storage in most popular OS environments. Based on 6Gb SAS Channel host interfaces, the JetStor SAS 724JD supporting the choice of SAS and SATA II drive configurations to deliver the best cost-performance index with higher bandwidth.
The ability to mix SAS and SATA drives allows the JetStor SAS 724JD to be used for a range of applications that require different price/performance characteristics. Cost-effective SATA drives can be selected for capacity orientated storage such as disk-to-disk backup and the storage of reference data. Higher specification SAS drives can be employed for I/O intensive applications including transactional databases. Hosting multiple tiers of data in an JetStor SAS 724JD configuration gives organizations the flexibility to meet both their technical requirements and budgetary constraints with a single unified solution.
Low service and integration costs are assured by the JetStor's cableless design, two redundant hot-swappable power supplies with two independent power inputs and turbo cooling fans. Three year warranty comes standard with every JBOD and covers all components.
The JetStor SAS 724JD RAID addresses many challenges present in datacenters and delivers ample bandwidth, unparalleled storage flexibility, higher levels of data availability, management and configuration simplicity, all while securing maximum investment protection to support future growth.
The JetStor SAS 724JD can be connected to JetStor SAS 724FD and JetStor SAS 724S or SAS HBA.
