Packing 180 terabytes into just 4U of Rackspace, AC&NC’s new JetStor 600iS and 760iS RAID systems enable commercial, government and educational IT management to easily accommodate growing storage requirements within existing floor space. Dual-path SAS ports enable simple JBOD expansion, for example to 900 TB in just 20U. Automatic drive spin-down and intelligent fan and thermal management efficiently minimize energy costs achieving green initiatives.
Designed for a lifetime of service without interruption, the JetStor 660iS and 760iS feature a cable-less design ensuring signal integrity, fully redundant and fail-over dual-active controllers, fans and N+1 power supplies, multipath support, and modular components for a short mean-time-to-repair (MTTR). Comprehensive data protection includes most RAID levels including two dimensional parity data protection, snapshots, N-way mirroring, and integrated replication.
As storage densities increase, performance becomes critical to ensure responsive access to large datasets. JetStor 660iS and 760iS RAID systems eliminate bottlenecks with multiple discrete 64 bit RAID, iSCSI and XOR processors working in parallel to achieve 850 MB/second reads and 700 MB/second writes. Data delivery is unhindered to one or more hosts through connectivity options of four to twelve 1G Ethernet ports and four 10G Fibre Channel ports.
